Data We Collect
Rhonda collects Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit our Site, when you send us information or communications in connection with your use of the Service, and/or when you download and use the Services. "Personal Data" means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, geographic location of your computer or mobile device, telephone number, credit card number, email address and bank account information, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. "Anonymous Data" means data about you that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data; Anonymous Data does not permit the identification of individual persons. We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, as described below.
Personal Data You Provide To Us
We request Personal Data from you, such as first and last name, email and mailing addresses, telephone number, professional title, company name, and password, when you register for the Service. In addition, we (or our third-party credit card or payment processor on our behalf) will collect Personal Data including your credit card number or account information when you upgrade to a paid account. We also retain information on your behalf, such as the Personal Data described above and any correspondence. We may collect Personal Data voluntarily provided by you, including in emails to the Site, online forms, order and registration forms, surveys, promotion participation, phone calls with our customer service and through other means. If you provide us feedback or contact us via email, we will collect your name and email address, IP address, as well as any other content included in the email, in order to send you a reply, and any information that you submit to us. We collect information through various other means, including participation at conferences and events and individual introductions. We may also collect Personal Data at other instances in the Site user experience where we state that Personal Data is being collected.
Personal Data Collected via Technology
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a web site. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them, or for an extended period of time) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience while using the Service. Persistent Cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. If you choose to disable Cookies, some areas of the Site, the Application and/or the Service may not function correctly.
How We Use Your Data
We primarily use your personal information to provide access to the Site, to enable use of our App, and to provide and improve our Website Services.
Marketing and Sales Communications
Rhonda and its affiliates use the personal information we or our service providers collect about you from the Site to provide you with marketing and sales communications both on and off of the Rhonda Website Services. We may also receive reports regarding the effectiveness of our campaigns on an individual and aggregated basis. If you wish to opt-out of targeted marketing, please use the options available in the Cookie banner or button at the bottom of the page or the controls available through your browser.
Research / Development
We use personal information to improve and enhance our Website Services by expanding their features and functionality and improving marketing, analytics or Site functionality. To do this, we may combine information such as Log Data with other information we collect about you or that you provide to us.
We may use your personal information as necessary to keep our Website Services safe and secure, including to fight spam, malware and identity theft.
How We Share Information
We may engage third-party service providers to administer and provide our Website Services. Our service providers may provide services such as hosting Rhonda’ site, providing technical support, collecting analytics data to analyze trends, or assisting in our marketing. These service providers have access to your personal information only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and are contractually restricted in how they may use your personal information.
Non-Identifiable Information Shared with Third Parties
We may share aggregated information and non-directly identifying information with third parties to enhance the effectiveness of our Website Services, for industry research and analysis, demographic profiling, benchmarking, and other similar purposes.
Change in Control or Sale
It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you; (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations; (4) protect the security or integrity of our Website Services (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Rhonda, our personnel or others. We will attempt to notify you about legal demands for your personal information when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, in our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague, or lack proper authority, but we do not promise to challenge every demand.
Except as otherwise stated in this policy, we do not generally sell, trade, share, or rent the Personal Data collected from our services to third parties. You expressly consent to the sharing of your Personal Data as described in this policy.
Right to Access, Control and Delete Your Personal Information
Upon request, Rhonda will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third-party, any of your personal information. If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire to use our Website Services, you may correct, update, amend, delete/remove, and/or ask to have it removed from a testimonial on our Site.
You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the instructions in those messages. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account, previous purchases or our ongoing business relations.
Other Important Stuff
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (DNT) is a proposed standard for allowing internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites. To date, no single DNT standard has been adopted. Because there is no single standard, Rhonda currently doesn’t respond to DNT signals. For more information regarding Do Not Track mechanisms, see http://allaboutdnt.com/.
We implement reasonable security safeguards designed to protect your data, such as HTTPS. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, we cannot warrant the security of any information that you send us.
Cross Border Data Transfers
We process data both inside and outside of the United States and rely on legally-provided mechanisms to transfer data across borders. Countries where we process data may have laws which are different from, and potentially not as protective as, the laws of your own country.
Our Policy Toward Children
Our Website Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible.
