Like many companies, the Rhonda team was quickly pushed into a new reality we weren’t particularly familiar with. COVID-19 has forced companies to make drastic changes and have ultimately imposed an entire digital transformation. Working remotely has become our new “normal”. Here are 3 lessons the team has learned over the past 6 weeks that we would love to share with you.
1. Business can continue as usual.
One important lesson that our team has learned is that business doesn’t stop. We are finding that working from home has given us a whole new perspective on how we operate and our daily tasks and responsibilities. Through virtual meetings, and constant communication through our messaging platform, team members are able to seamlessly work together and communicate effectively.
2. Finding a connection is important.
During this isolation period, connection is something most of us are searching for. Feeling disconnected from a friend, a coworker or a family member can make one feel isolated and unmotivated. That’s why, the Rhonda team has been doing things such as daily virtual meetups, encouraging friendly competition, and even showing off our furry friends from time to time.
3. Continue driving team culture
Transitioning to a remote workforce, whether it is gradually or instantly has its challenges, but it also has its opportunities. Over the last few weeks, the Rhonda team has been working diligently with companies to engage, inform, and keep teams and entire workforces connected. We have learned more than ever that during this pandemic it is critical to keep your company culture positive and thriving. Click here for some ideas!
